Bookmarks

These bookmarks were inspired by songs and lyrics that offer vivid imagery one could relate to reading. Each bookmark has a plain white background for a simple design that showcases the use of illustrations and text as the central design.

Additionally, the project expanded to include bookmarks inspired by favorite books of mine, using visual representations of symbols and quotes seen in the texts. Throughout the scope of the project, 54 bookmarks were designed.

A “Percy Jackson and the Olympians” inspired bookmark, showing a visualization of the beaded necklaces worn throughout the books. Each bead is illustrated as described in the series, with a symbol that represents the adventures the characters embark on in each book.
