Hockey Team Stickers
The goal of this project was to create a sticker for each NHL team. In achieving this, 44 designs were made for 33 teams, including variations on multiple teams with added elements.
Each sticker design is composed of multiple typefaces, colors, text arrangement, and texture. With knowledge of the NHL teams, each design choice was made to connect to fans of that team and convey the feeling of the team identity. For every sticker, the colors were chosen to be similar to the team’s official branding to create a recognizable visual design for fans.

Variations
Throughout the project, there grew the opportunity to add visual elements that have a strong connection to each team. This culminated in creating secondary designs for 11 teams, with a standard version of the sticker as well as an alternate version with an added element or distinct stylistic change.
The variations themselves spoke to the team’s identity, either in added visual elements or changes to the design. For teams with distinct retro color schemes, the alternate designs utilized those to reflect that secondary visual identity.
